What about metal utensils that aren’t made of copper; rather they are made of brass? You can turn the brass into metal as clean and clear as glass. Just slice up a lemon in half (better to do it lengthwise in order to give you a larger surface area) and cover the flesh of lemon in salt. Hold the lemon half by the peel and rub the salted flesh over brass that needs cleaning. Together the acidic effect of lemon and the neutral effect of salt will create a wonderfully clean brass surface. So what if brass is old fashioned? Your clean one will be a “pleasantly old fashioned” one!
